Epilame treatment is the critical final step after cleaning your watch components. Designed for professional watchmakers, this kit ensures the longevity of your service over time.

What is Epilame?

This treatment modifies the surface tension of critical components (such as escape wheels, pallet jewels). It creates an invisible barrier that prevents oil migration. Without epilame, oils can spread away from the friction point, leading to premature wear.

Why 10ml?

Don't let the size fool you: 10ml of Episurf-Neo is sufficient to treat hundreds of movements. Only a microscopic molecular layer is needed for the effect to work. 

Usage & Critical Precautions

• Absolute Cleanliness: Epilame is a surface treatment, not a cleaner. Parts must be 100% free of old grease and residue. 

• Application: Put the perfectly cleaned component into the basket, turn the bottle over so the part is submerged in the solution for approx. 30 seconds.
  Note: For pallet forks, apply only to the stones to avoid friction in the slot.

• Drying: Immediately after removal, dry the part using heat (warm air dryer >25°C) to prevent condensation and rust

• High Volatility: This solution evaporates quickly. You must seal the jar tightly immediately after every dip. Leaving it open for even a few minutes can lead to product loss.
